How to use it?
The Multi card must be place on the ticket reader, and a trip will be discounted with each validation. The validation screen will inform of the card balance by counting the available tickets.
Example:
A card with two ten-trips ticket charge of the zone fare A-B2, making the third validation, the screen will show that 17 trips are remining.
It is possible to make with a same Multi card as many validations as travelers using the service but they must remain with the card holder.
The Multi card can be charged at:
- Automatic ticket machines of Metro de Madrid and ML1: Metro network tickets (single ticket and 10-trip ticket) and tourist ticket
- Automatic ticket machines of Light Rail (ML2 y ML3): single tickets, 10-trips tickets valid in the service and tourist ticket
- Information points in the Interchange Stations: urban and suburban Bonobuses and tourist ticket
- Tobacco shops and other licensed selling-points: 10 trips tickets (Metrobus and suburban bonobuses) and tourist ticket
- Automatic ticket machines of suburban railway – Renfe Cercanías: Tourist tickets
