The deadline for nominations for the second edition of the Awards for the Promotion of Public Transport and Sustainable Mobility announces the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid has been extended until October 25.

Until that day you can register to qualify for these awards all projects whose ultimate goal has been to promote and encourage public transport throughout the past year, has been developed independently by individuals or by companies or institutions in the field of Community of Madrid.

The awards are divided into two categories. The first is to conduct survey to workers of any of the companies operating public transport system, whether drivers, inspectors, watchmen or technical, among many others, who in their daily work make public transport network of Madrid a world leader.

Secondly, an award is given to companies and institutions that have taken measures to promote public transport and sustainable mobility, such as schools, universities, hospitals, municipalities, private companies, etc..

For the evaluation of the proposals submitted by companies and institutions will take into account factors such as the scope or impact of the measure, the innovative character of the same in terms of the ability to attract users to public transport, or the degree of implementation of the initiative.

Applications must be submitted on email premioscrtm2013@crtm.es or on registration of the headquarters of the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid, completed the card candidacy.
