The Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid, within its activities on the occasion of the European Mobility Week has decided to bring the world of public transport to the smaller and young people through two exhibitions installed in the municipalities of Getafe and Móstoles under the slogan "and you, how do you move?".
Making a journey through history, science, discoveries and inventions, the exhibition aims to demonstrate the importance for humans have had travel and how the way be made has evolved to the present day.
In this area is done a special stop on public transport in the Community of Madrid, detailing the visitor the benefits of its use. One by one explains the features of each of the modes that make up the public transport system, including buses, both urban and intercity, Metro, suburban rail network and trams.
A special section is also dedicated to road safety, especially if used bicycles, a transport medium used by the public especially children and is establishing itself as a mode of sustainable transportation in coordination with public transport.
The exposition released by the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid to City Council of Móstoles is located in the Social and Cultural Centre "El Calidoscopio" and is open until next Friday. For its part, the exhibition transferred to the Consistory of Getafe will remain in the hospital in San Jose until next October 17.
These two initiatives are part of the activities that the Community of Madrid is developing because of the European Mobility Week 2013 in collaboration with the different municipalities. They have taken special care of children and young people, two basic groups for the future of mobility in the region and respect for the environment through the use of public transport, coinciding with this year's theme "Move for cleaner air!".
