Infrastructure and public transport services will continue to be the protagonists of the Science Week XIII the next days, thanks to the collaboration of the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid with this initiative of the Community of Madrid. Exchangers, Metro and Metro Ligero Oeste open again its doors to the public to discover the management including its operation, by moving more than three million customers each day.
On this occasion, will be the Plaza Castilla exchanger showing the technological facilities to the locals, on a guided tour where you will analyze all the systems developed in this transport infrastructure for traffic management, maintenance, optimize the transfers , ensure safety, and its basic principle of intermodality. The event, with a quota of approximately 15 people will be on Wednesday 13, between 11:00 and 12:30 hours.
For its part, the Metro Ligero Oeste will make a open day tour on Thursday, the 14th. About thirty people, including 20 students of Louis Braille institute specialized in the field of transportation, find out the garages, maintenance areas and the central checkpoint of this mode of transport.
