The Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid this Sunday has been recognized as 'business friendly' for Down Syndrome Foundation. It is the second consecutive year that the Madrid agency receives this reference, as thanks to its policy of collaboration and dissemination of the work of this social organization.
The award was presented during the celebration of the "Madrid Race Down II", on of hands of Vicente del Bosque, national football coach and sponsor of the event. Del Bosque has appreciated the commitment of the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid with the activities of the Foundation and to the disclosure of this sporting event in different communication channels transport systems.
The competition has started this morning at 11:00 am in the Parque Juan Carlos I, and has had the participation of both professional racers, like athletics lovers, families and friends of the Foundation. In total, around 1,500 people have gathered at the event. The profits will go to sport and leisure projects for people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.
The Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid has leveraged the sporting event to reaffirm their commitment to the human and social values, and in general to maintain an activity that benefits in this regard at all times to public transport users and the locals in whole.
