The counselor of Transport, Infrastructure and Housing, Pablo Cavero, inaugurated the seminar on new methods of analysis of mobility, who organized the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid (CRTM) and the International Union of Public Transport (UITP). During his speech, the responsible regional and also president of the CRTM highlighted precisely the revolution in mobility studies will involve the introduction of the new Public Transport Card, with innovative information and a wider range of data analysis using public transport system.

In this sense, Cavero recalled the extensive experience that has the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid in mobility surveys and making travel information. Information that allows to design and adapt public transport system to the real needs, but which, however, involves a significant cost.

Thus, next to the new Public Transportation Card, the regional manager also called for the introduction of innovative applications which facilitate the analysis of population movements.
