The Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid, in collaboration with the Council of Alcalá de Henares, has decided to rearrange the bus lines, in order to adapt to the actual demand of the municipality and provide a better service to the business area of ​​the town .

Thus, line 12 (Plaza de Cervantes-Jardín Botánico-Universidad) will expand its area of ​​influence from the last stop to the General Archive of the Administration, serving all technology park and supporting economic growth and industrial area.

Another line that also modify its route is the Line 7 (El Ensanche-Nueva Alcalá) because of the existence of new road infrastructure. The new route will save on travel between 5 and 7 minutes.

Moreover, there is a change in the schedules of lines 1, 3, 7 and 12, whose frequencies are available on the official website of Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid www.crtm.es.

With this action, both the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid as the Council of Alcalá de Henares aim to provide a quality service, commensurate with the growth of the town, avoiding duplication and based on the principle of resource efficiency.
