The Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid strengthens the bus service to cemeteries

On the occasion of the festivity of All Saints, and to facilitate access to the various cemeteries of Madrid, the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid has strengthened public transport services in various urban buses.

This increase, which will begin to take place on 19 October and will run until November 3, represents an increase in the provision of service by 75%. Specifically, during the festivity of All Saints will include 20 buses on routes to the cemetery, from the usual 14 to a total of 34 vehicles.

The lines that will strengthen the service and the dates that will be held, are as follows:

Line 110 (Manuel Becerra-La Almudena): from October 19 to November 3.

  • Special Service (SE)​​ Plaza Elíptica-Cementerio Sur: from October 20 to November 3.
  • Special Service (SE) ​​Plaza de Castilla-Cementerio de Fuencarral: from October 26 to November 2.
  • Line 108 (Oporto-Cementerio de Carabanchel): from October 26 to November 2.
  • Line 25 (Ópera-Casa de Campo): November 1.

Also the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid reinforces all lines that serve urban cemeteries from the different municipalities of the Community of Madrid. With this expansion of endowments, the Consorcio de Transportes responds to the strong increase in demand that occurs at this time, providing citizens with a convenient and efficient access to cemeteries Madrid.
